Selling Privately
A Quieter Way to Sell
Some sellers would rather their neighbours, colleagues and the wider market did not know their home is for sale. There are four ways to do that well.
Four ways to sell quietly
01
Private sale
Your home is never listed. We introduce it only to buyers already registered with us. If one of them is right, the sale is agreed before anyone else knows it was for sale.
02
Quiet launch
Your home appears first on our website and social channels, to the people who follow our homes, before it reaches the portals. If the right buyer comes forward, it may never need to. If not, it reaches the portals with a clean launch date rather than as a home that has been sitting there.
03
Discreet listing
Your home is marketed in full, but its exact location is never published. There is no board. Viewings are accompanied, with buyers we have qualified, and the address is shared only once a viewing is arranged.
04
Buyer-led approaches
When a registered buyer is looking for a particular kind of home on a particular street, we write to the owners there on their behalf. We only write when the buyer is real.
Whichever you choose, your home is styled, photographed and filmed to the same standard as every home we sell.
When a quiet sale is the wrong choice
Fewer buyers see your home. For some homes and some sellers that is exactly the point. For others, the open market will achieve more. Where it will, we will tell you, and show you why.
